Recommended Privacy Tools for Adult Website Users

This list features the tools I personally use for keeping both my collection of porn, and places I visit, private.

#1 CCleaner - System privacy and cleaning tool

If you don't already have CCleaner on your computer, go ahead and give it a try. It will remove traces of your online activities, such as your Internet history, from any main browser you have installed. Additionally, CCleaner also removes data in other logging areas which record your interaction with websites and programs on your computer. The most important feature is the secure deletion of Internet cache files. This must be enabled in the options as its not set as default.

#2 Evidence Eliminator - Forensic-analysis proof cleaning tool

Like CCleaner above, this program erases locally logged information on the sites visited and content viewed, but has several important advantages. All data erased with this software is securely wiped with DOD Standard erasure algorithms. Also of note is the wipe of the Windows Swap-File - this area records details of activity not removed by CCleaner. Forensic lab software such as EnCase and F.R.E.D. have shown unable to recover EE erased data making any questionable (unknowingly or otherwise) media untraceable.

EE will thus keep your browsing habits from family and those wanting to deny your rights to information. My recommendation is to use CCleaner as first defense, then finish with a deep-clean with EE.

#3 TrueCrypt - Disk encryption software

We all need somewhere to store our stash of porn or other private materials. The best secure storage solution for this has to be open-source software TrueCript. The program creates a container on your hardrive that once set, acts just like another drive but is unbreakable without a password. To many features to list here, but take note of the plausible deniability feature for substantially increased privacy.
